God also made human beings. All of us are made by him. The first man and woman were called Adam and Eve. God was thrilled to bits with them, and he blessed them.
God created human beings, he created them godlike, reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.” Gen 1:27-28 (MSG)
It’s not just Adam and Eve who were made to ‘reflect God’s nature’: you were too! God made you one-of-a-kind. There’s no one else on earth with that nose, those eyes, that smile. No one else with your fingerprint pattern, or your exact hair colour. God made you, and thinks you’re great!
Pray: God, thank you that there’s no one else on planet earth like me. Help me to look after the world you have made.
